Working from home meant we could vary snack and coffee breaks, change our desks or view, goof off, drink on the job, even spend the day in pajamas

Hi I’m Jesser, a fitness trainer, nutrition coach and athlete. I have been in the gym since I was 16 years old on and off. I would always workout a few months then stop. In 2011 I went to the Netherlands to continue my studies. I started working out seriously and never looked back. I fell in love with fitness and couldn’t take a break longer than a week. My current coach, Rene Wild, always helped me with workout programs and diets, which is whom I learned the most from. In 2014, I started competing in the Men’s physique category in the Netherlands. Under the guidance of Rene Wild, I won first place in my first competition ever. That was a really motivating moment for me as I only wanted to compete once to know what it feels like. After that, I competed back to back for a whole year participating in a total of 7 competitions. Within a year, I got my A status which is the highest in the Netherlands. On my last competition, I won the National Men’s Muscular Physique competition, which qualified me for the European championships. I went to Spain with the Dutch national team in 2016. It was a nice experience to stand on an international stage. In 2015, I decided to start coaching to help people reach their goals. I followed a fitness trainer course and a fitness nutrition course and got my certifications. Although I already had experience I didn’t want to start helping people until I felt I was really ready and qualified. With my experience and certification, I now want to help people to get fit and healthy. I think nutrition and exercise are a very important part of our lives. It's not only about looking good, it’s also about being healthy and feeling good.
